In the Beginning There were Dolls



The first use of polymer clay was doll making. In the late 1930s German doll makers lost there source of porcelain to make fine doll heads and hands. At the same time new plastics were coming on the scene. The patent for one prototyping plastics was bought by a doll company and the rest is history. Here are some of the creations of Nettonya Ryane, one of our guild members.
